VISITOR'S VISA


AUSTRALIAN, BRITISH, NEW ZEALAND, DENMARK AND OTHERS PASSPORT HOLDERS, WHO REQUIRE TO GO TO COLOMBIA FOR A SHORT VISIT, AS JOURNALIST, REPORTER, TO INICIATE COMMERCIAL CONTACTS, TO PARTICIPATE IN ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES OR SEMINARS, CONFERENCES, EXHIBITIONS, TO STUDY NO REGULAR COURSES LESS THAN SIX MONTHS, OR FOR CULTURAL OR SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES, WITHOUT PAYMENT IN COLOMBIA, DO NOT REQUIRE A VISA PRIOR TO ARRIVED TO THE REPUBLIC OF COLOMBIA.



If the applicant require to apply for the Visa the requirements are:

  • Complete the Visa Application Form
  • 3 recent colour photographs (3x4cm).
  • Copy of the return or onward journey ticket.
  • Letter of invitation from a sponsoring organisation, a Colombian national. The letter must be written in Spanish and must state the purpose and duration of the trip, with the certificate of incorporation of the company (certificado camara de comercio) issue no more than three months.

    One Photocopy of all the above documents except application form

    IF THE VISIT OF THE PASSPORT HOLDER IS FOR URGENT TECHNICAL REASONS, THE COMPANY RESPONSIBLE IN COLOMBIA, HAS TO APPLY FOR AN AUTHORIZATION TO THE INMIGRATION OFFICE –DAS – IN BOGOTA (TEL: 6107996), STATED THE NAME, PASSPORT NUMBER, FLIGHT NUMBER OF ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE FROM COLOMBIA, AND REASONS OF THE TRIP.

    THE PASSPORT HOLDER AT THE ARRIVAL INTO COLOMBIA MUST PRESENT THE LETTER WITH THE AUTORIZATION.
